In this advanced interactive course, I completed an interactive website design project about tea. The whole learning process is divided into three main stages: Task 1 proposal writing, Task 2 interface design, and the integration and improvement of the final project. In Task 1, I first established the core theme of the website, which is to promote tea culture and enhance users' interest in tea knowledge. In order to better conceive the website architecture and style, I referred to several successful tea brand websites, such as Leafory, Teapigs, and TWG Tea, from which I got inspiration for visual style, information structure and user experience. At the same time, I also combined the results of the questionnaire survey to preliminarily plan the functional modules and interactive forms of the website.
In Task 2, I started to use Figma for interface design. In practice, I encountered many challenges, such as how to balance the layout of graphic content, how to guide users to browse the path, and how to enhance the interactivity of the page. I kept testing different fonts, colors, component styles, and tried to add dynamic effects and hover interactions to make the entire website both beautiful and smooth to operate. With the feedback from my tutor, I kept adjusting the design details, such as the hierarchical logic of the navigation bar, image naming conventions, and visual consistency.
In the final integration stage, I combined the results of the first two tasks to form a complete website plan. I not only improved my proficiency in Figma, but also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of interactive design processes, user-oriented thinking, and system planning. This course made me understand that a successful website design is not only a beautiful interface, but also a fine polish of content logic, user paths, and interactive experience. In the future, I will continue to improve my interactive design capabilities and create more mature and warm works.
